WISDOM PEARL

Your success in life depends upon whether you envision problems as opportunities or as obstacles.  Learn to examine problems like an archaeologist: light your opportunities with an optimistic attitude, and the shadows will fade.

Making A Difference - TEEN Domestic/Relationship Abuse

TEEN Domestic/Relationship Abuse

Did you know that 1 in 4 women will experience domestic violence in her lifetime?

I had the opportunity to volunteer at the annual HUHH (Helping Us Help Her) domestic/relationship violence awareness event this week and learned this and so much more!

This amazing event educated young ladies about domestic/relationship abuse and how to recognize the signs of early domestic abuse.

A GREAT EVENT WITH A GREAT CAUSE!

Thank a Principal/Assistant Principal!!

Governor Proclaims October 'Principals Month' in Texas

Principals month recognizes campus principals as school leaders entrusted with our nation's most valuable resource – our students. It recognizes that principals are more than just caretakers of their schools. Principals are expected to be educational leaders, disciplinarians, community builders, spokesmen, budget analysts and guardians of policy mandates and initiatives. They set the academic tone for their schools and work collaboratively with teachers to maintain high curriculum standards, develop mission statements and set performance objectives.

Be sure to take some time to let your principal know you appreciate them and thank them for all the work they do to provide exceptional educational opportunities for our students.

FROM ONE SCHOOL ADMINISTRATOR TO ANOTHER -- THANKS FOR ALL YOU DO!!!
